The goal of the Noble High School Exchange Program is to create an affordable and personalized exchange program. It is designed to provide students with the opportunity to attend Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine and live with a host family. Our objectives are to develop culturally rich educational programs to increase understanding of cultural diversity, foster friendship and promote mutual respect among people of diverse backgrounds. These goals will be achieved through immersion in an authentic educational and home life environment.

As the exchange students at Noble, they are attending the same classes as the local American students. This is a wonderful opportunity for the exchange students to experience the local educational system. Since the start of a school year, the exchange students will have their own guidance counselors to help them schedule classes. Everyone can choose the proper courses according to their ability, interests and even future plans. After the first week, the students have chances to add or drop courses after having known more about wht they really need. All classes are small classes where there are approximately ten to twenty students or even less. Therefore, teachers are able to pay more attention to each individual student. School starts at 7:40 and ends at 2:30. Students have enough time for academic work, sports and various extracurricular activities. Most of the time, students are able to finish their assignments in classes. A lot of hands-on projects and field trips are also provided to help students enrich their learning experience in diverse aspects.

Host family is another important part for exchange students. School has a rigid procedure to select host families. Both school and host families know how important it is for the exchange students to have a suitable host family. Hence, before making a final decision, Ms. Sun, who is the coordinator of the exchange program, would contact with the host families and discuss with them the exchange students' personality traits, interests and needs. Thanks to her time and efforts, the exchange students would usually live in a host family where they feel most comfortable and feel at home. During this year, the host families would regard the exchange students as their own children and try their best to take good care of them. School will organize some short trips and interesting activities for them.

This year will be a fabulous year for the exchange students. They will learn, grow and get ready for their college life.
